The first version was written by Marcelino Martins, and since then the feedback has been overwhelming. The current release, version 4.70, written by Nigel Goodwin, is based on the earlier versions 1 and 2, but includes very significant performance enhancements. It also includes more flexible look and feel, as developed originally by Roger Bedard. From the very beginners, to the guys at Developer.com, including intranet webmasters, all sorts of people have been using folder tree and writing with their compliments, suggestions, and requests to use the script.
